アジアの世界遺産
アジア各国を訪れて、最近感じることは「土の文化だなぁ」ということです。懐かしさを感じる水田。青々と草が茂る草原。家畜のにおい、豊かな海、そして森林・・・。ヨーロッパが石の文化だとすると、アジアは土の文化を持った国々のような気がします。そしてどの国も「発展」というこれからの伸びを強く感じるのもアジアの特徴です。日本のバブル期とまではいかなくても、経済的成長がまだまだ続くなぁと、多くの国で感じます。多文化・他宗教による様々な伝統を受け継いでいるアジアの世界遺産を紹介します。
